What up what up. Jordan here. Just testing this whole blog thing out for our first ever blog post. You may be wondering "why the fuck am I reading a bands blog in 2025?". Or maybe you're not wondering that. Maybe you're just like us and wish the internet kinda stuck the way it was back in 2005 with just enough access without all the insanity of todays algorithms, likes and playcounts. Advanced enough to get a map to the punk rock show but not enough for your ex to track your every move or your mom to send you AI cat videos. That's where we're going with this blog. Going back into a time machine to when the internet was peak. If you're a fan of this band you've probably realized by now we kind of like to go against the grain. We are DIY as hell. We dropped a full ass album for our first release instead of dripping out singles to please the algorithm and engagement gods. We are just way too cool like that. So now we are making you be cool like that too, asking you to read a blog instead of watch us do Tik Tok dances. And who knows? Maybe if you spend a couple minutes with our thoughts, you’ll get to know us better than you w
Alright. Stepping off the soapbox now
Here’s the real update: We signed with Hey!Fever Records back in January, which still feels wild to say, and we’re currently finishing up our first release for them. It's called "Making Enemies" and it's gonna rip. We are recording it ourselves again and shipping it off to the legend Paul Miner to master. It's got 4 songs that we're super proud of. Make Dying Fun was our first release and all those songs came from G's archive of songs from his old band with Mike. Now we are all collaborating on shit in real time so now you are getting a true "Stoke Signals" vibe with everyone throwing in their sauce, maximum stoke if you will. So yeah get pumped for this shit, more updates to come soon
Here's some sick pics of some studio sessions that Chris has taken, enjoy:
